pit stop @ Fosters Freeze!

The terrible experience we had last Sunday at Jardin was replaced with a rather pleasant one. The little combo here was a really smooth variation on the mariachi using a sax and a trombone to soften the edges. The food at Jardin was also good, just like I had imagined. Not like Martha will ever go there, again...
After months of waiting (since the SFIFF) we finally saw Prairie home companion! I wonder if I love Robert Altman movies now. It was great. Does this show still play in Minnesota? I should ask Mom and Dad.
Cooking these involved 7 huge bottles of wine and we even had to enlist Joel's oven to get them done, so I figured they were worth mentioning. And they smelled delicious. Yum
Ahh happi house. I love you. Next time, I have to remember to get the Teriyaki Bowl
BTW... this place totally screwed us. We sat there for an hour waiting for our food and then presented us with the bill. When we told them that we hadn't gotten any food yet, they said the kitchen was closed and we couldn't eat anything.
Of course we were starving and the jerk manager wouldn't listen to our story. So Martha made a scene and stormed off and we got a free meal for later. :)
